Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a pump efficiency.SOLUTION: There are provided a fixture body having an impeller installing part 12; an impeller 30 rotatably installed at the impeller installing part 12; and a casing C covering the fixture body and an outer peripheral side of the impeller 30. The fixture body has an intake side corn 21 fixed to an intake side. The intake side corn 21 has an intake side corn barrel part 27 of which diameter is gradually expanded around the center of an axial line Af as it faces toward a discharging side. An area at an inner peripheral surface of the casing C opposing against the intake side corn barrel part 27 shows its diameter expanded gradually around the axial line Af as it faces toward the discharging side. A flow passage area PA2 perpendicular to a flow line on a virtual plane including the axial line Af of fluid passing between the inside part of the casing C and the outside of the intake side corn barrel part 27 is kept constant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
