Abstract:
To ease an effect of demagnetization which acts on permanent magnets of a rotor, in an axial gap rotary electric machine in which a coil-wound stator is arranged at one side of a rotor in the direction of rotation axis and a non-coil-wound stator is arranged at the other side.
The coil-wound stator 30 and the non-coil-wound stator 40 are arranged at both sides of the rotor 20 along the direction of rotation axis 28a. The rotor 20 has rotor cores 24 arranged at the coil-wound stator 30 side only of each permanent magnet 22 virtually. No rotor core is provided at the non-coil-wound stator 40 side of each permanent magnet 22.
