Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a device which detects the axial load of a car with rear two axles securely.
CONSTITUTION: A casing 210 of a driving shaft 200 to be installed in the rear of a car and another casing 310 of a driven shaft 300 both support both ends of a leaf spring 610. An upper end of a rod 640 extending a vertical direction from a central part of this leaf spring 610 is connected to an arm 645. A shaft 652 of a level sensor 650 being clamped to the body side is connected to this arm 645 as well. When the driving shaft 200 and the driven shaft 300 both are received some load and a suspension is displaced to some extent, this displacement is detected by the level sensor 650, whereby axial load is calculated. When a wheelbase D is varied by this suspension displacement, its variation also turns to the displacement of the leaf spring 610 and thereby sensitivity in the level sensor is improved.
