To provide an axial motor that can suppress the size increase of a rotor (rotor magnet), even if the number of windings of a coil winding is increased for improving the torque performance of the motor, or even if the diameter of the coil winding is enlarged.
The axial motor 10 comprises the disc-shaped rotor 42, having the rotor magnet and a plurality of stator coils 60 that are arranged so as to face the rotor, and is arranged on a concentric circle with a point on a rotating axial line of the rotor as a center. The stator coil comprises a core 54 and the coil winding 50 wound on the core. The axial motor is characterized in that a core magnetic pole 56, that faces the rotor magnet, is arranged at one end of the core, and the center C of the core magnetic pole is located farther inside of the center D of the core.
