Axial piston machine with a cylinder drum, the end face of which bears against a control base receiving body in which an approximately semicircular annular intake duct and an approximately semicircular annular pressure duct are arranged, each of these two ducts extending in the control base receiving body to a connection aperture, a device, preferably a sieve, being arranged in the intake duct inside the control base receiving body in order to catch impurities.
