Abstract:

To provide an axial type magnetic levitation motor which can maintain a rotation center axis of a rotor in the axial type magnetic levitation motor in a prescribed position.

The axial type magnetic levitation motor includes: a rotor rotating with a rotation center axis arranged in a Z-axis direction of an orthogonal coordinate system; one side and other side stators arranged separately on one side and the other side of the rotor along a Z-axis; and a control section for supplying control current to the one side stator. A plurality of permanent magnets forming a magnetic pole are arranged in the rotor. The control section supplies the one side and other side stators with control current for controlling rotation torque generated in the rotor and controlling a position of the rotation center axis of the rotor so as to be maintained in a prescribed position.
