Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axis-cylinder circuit having continuous pulse delay function having a delay circuit with which delay time can be controlled by an analog voltage and pulse timing is delayed.
SOLUTION: This axis-cylinder circuit has the delay function for a pulse to be propagated on the axis-cylinder of an asynchronous pulse neural network system. In this case, a delay circuit 1 has a switched current circuit for converting an input voltage Vin to a current and controlling this output current with a reset voltage and a maladaptive neuron circuit, which is connected to the output part of this switched current circuit and has a capacitor Cm to be charged by the output current, the output current flows into the capacitor Cm, a voltage at both the terminals of this capacitor Cm is delayed and increased by the adiaphorus neuron circuit, this voltage at both the terminals of the capacitor Cm is defined as the reset input of the switched current circuit, the current of the capacitor Cm is cut, the delayed pulse is generated and since the delay time of this pulse is corresponding to the charging time of the capacitor Cm, the current to flow into the capacitor Cm is controlled in analog manner by the reset input.
