Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axis-like member processing method capable of performing turning processing of an axis-like member with high accuracy.SOLUTION: Round grooves 16 are formed on both ends of an axial line direction of a journal part 13 of a crank shaft 1. In a turning process of the journal part 13, a rough processing tip 24 and a finish processing tip 25 are used. The rough processing tip 24 and the finish processing tip 25 are held so as to have a positional relationship in which respective tips deviate 180° to a common tool 21. Then the tips of the rough processing tip 24 and the finish processing tip 25 are disposed in the round grooves 16. Then, the journal part 13 is rotated around a central axis line, and the tip ends of the rough processing tip 24 and the finish processing tip 25 are moved toward a tip movement direction from inside of the round grooves 16, and then an outer peripheral face of the journal part 13 is cut by the rough processing tip 24 and the finish processing tip 25.
