Abstract:
PURPOSE: To conveniently convey an axle, even when a speed reduction gear is attached to the axle, in a conveying apparatus for conveying an axle of a rolling stock.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of vertical tubes through which a fork 4 in a forklift 2 is passed is arranged on a receiving base 5, and a pair of axle receivers 11 and a pair of axle pressers 14 vertically moved by means of a hydraulic cylinder are arranged on the upper face of the receiving base 5. On the lower face of the receiving base 5, arm guiding tubes 91, 92, in which receiving arms 191, 192 advanced/retracted by means of the hydraulic cylinder are stored, are arranged, and a speed reduction gear (d) of an axle (a) is received by means of the receiving arms 191, 192, while an axle (b) is clamped and held by means of the axle receivers 11 and the axle pressers 14. The arm guiding tubes 91, 92 may be fixed on the receiving base 5, or alternatively, may be fixed in a suspending base so as to be suspended by means of a spring.
