Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize totally large structure of a housing of an axle driving device because of longitudinally and vertically too long, and to prevent running idle of the running part in a neutral phase or freely running of the vehicle caused by leakage of driving oil from a hydraulic motor on a slant ground.
SOLUTION: This axle driving device receives a hydraulic pump P, a hydraulic motor M and an axle in a housing and the housing is composed of a front housing 1 and a rear housing 2, then a center section 5 is provided so as a matching face of the front housing 1 and the rear housing 2 to be coincident with a pump mounting face 40, thus the axle is supported on the front housing 1 below the hydraulic pump P and a lock disk 19 is fixed on a motor shaft 4, then a lock mechanism is constructed by making a lock pin 66 supported on the housing engage with the lock disk 19, thus the lock mechanism is provided upward of a swollen housing part receiving the axle.
