To make an operation mechanism of a swash plate to change working oil discharge quantity of a hydraulic pump in simple constitution in an axle driving device to store a hydraulic continuously variable transmission and an axle driven by the hydraulic continuously variable transmission in a housing constituting an oil reservoir.
It is constituted to communicate intermediate parts of oil passages to a pair of bow-shaped ports on a pump setting surface formed on a horizontal part of a center section by providing a pair of rectilinear oil passages 5a, 5b in parallel in the horizontal part 500 of the center section 5 and communicating one ends of the oil passages to a pair of the bow-shaped ports 41a, 41b on a motor setting surface formed on a vertical part 501 of the center section. Bow-shaped ports 40a, 40b on the pomp setting surface are arranged in a position roughly orthogonal with the extending direction of the above-mentioned oil passages, respective both ends of the bow-shaped ports are respectively overlapped with the above-mentioned oil passages, one end side of one of the bow-shaped ports is deeply drilled and communicated to the oil passage on the one side, and the other end side of the other of the bow- shaped ports is deeply drilled and communicated to the other oil passage.
