To provide the shape and configuration of a suspension joint capable of combining a good sound filtration property with the ability to support a load on a vehicle, and obtaining a good suspending elasticity.
An axle 1 is used for the purpose of suspending a car body and it has a cross-member for connecting two arm 4. Each arm 4 is connected to a shaft forming a pivotal axis 40 of the arm 4 on the car body. The cross- member has a means for separating the suspension arms 4 from each other. The axle has also two supporting bodies 8. Elastic suspension joints 7 are inserted between the respective supporting bodies 8 and the respective shafts, and the respective elastic joints 7 are integrated with the supporting bodies 8 and the corresponding shafts so as not to be slid. Each elastic joint 7 has holes 70 which are arranged nearly vertically to form the positions at which radial rigidity is small.
