To provide an axle supporting device capable of improving control precision of a suspension by minimizing delay of responding time.
A sensor device b22 is furnished with ultrasonic sensors 20A, 20B, 20C, 20D respectively provided on front, rear, left and right rolling bearings 21 for a vehicle and their control device 30. The control device 30 is furnished with a rolling element load computing means to find a load working on a rolling element from outputs of the ultrasonic sensors 20A, 20B, 20C, 20D for each of the rolling bearings 21, a vertical direction load computing means to find a vertical direction component of a tire grounding load of each of wheels 4 in accordance with each of the rolling element loads and a suspension force computing means to compute suspension force to be given to corresponding suspension units 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D in accordance with the vertical direction component of each of the tire grounding loads.
