Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a difference of turn performances in a turn direction to a minimum limit in the case of a stroke in a suspension mechanism and a roll of a car body.
SOLUTION: In an axle suspension mechanism having a lateral rod 5 connecting a car body 2 and an axle 6, damping force of a hydraulic shock absorber 3a in a connection part 5b relating to the car body 2 of the lateral rod 5 is set larger than damping force of a hydraulic shock absorber 3 in a connection part 5a relating to the axle 6. When a vehicle is in low speed running, that is, when a piston in the hydraulic shock absorber 3, 3a is at a low displacement speed, a right/left different damping characteristic is given in a roll of the car body 2, abnormally floating up of the car body 2 is suppressed and a bad influence given to running performance is eliminated. On the other hand, at high speed running time, since the piston in the hydraulic shock absorber 3, 3a is in a fast displacement speed, a difference is eliminated between the right/left damping characteristics, a bad influence is prevented from being given to the running performance.
