Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify and ease adjustment of roll rigidity by forming the captioned suspension equipped with upper and lower links in such a manner as pivot positions of the upper and lower links are made movable so as to adjust an angle of link interference at the time of rolling.

CONSTITUTION: When the car body side pivot position of upper links 5a, 5b are moved from the lower part to the upper part of brackets 31a, 31b, in case the upper link 5b and the lower link 6b on the side of the car lateral direction 1 move to the positions of two-point chain line, in relation to the links 5a, 6a on the other side following the roll movement of a car body 1, locus S2 for movement of the upper link 5b is changed from one before movement of the pivot and an angle θ of link interference to a beam 2 by the links 5a, 6a and 5b, 6b is changed. Accordingly, roll rigidity is changed. Thus, roll rigidity can be simply and easily adjusted through this constitution.
