To provide an axle type suspension device which attains weight reduction and improvement of durability.
This suspension device is constituted of a leaf spring 20 supported with a chassis frame at the front and rear ends, and a rubber spring unit 21 interposed between the chassis frame and the leaf spring 20 as main constitution members. The rubber spring unit 21 is constituted of front and rear a pair of rubber springs 30, 31, front and rear upper brackets 32, 33, a lower bracket 34, and a cushion rubber 32d Both the rubber springs 30, 31 are the same articles, the front rubber spring 30 is arranged in a forward tilting state, and the rear spring 31 is arranged in a backward tilting state. The rubber springs 30, 31 are what is called laminated rubber in which binding plates are respectively interposed between a plurality of rubber elastic bodies, and they are integrated by vulcanizing bonding.
