To obtain a composition useful as an environment-friendly cleaning agent, a rinsing agent and a drying agent by using an azeotrope of decamethyltetrasiloxane and a specific ether.
This composition is the azeotrope selected from azeotrope selected from the azeotrope comprising (A) 2-15wt.% of decamethyltetrasiloxane and (B) 85-98% of 1-butoxy-2-propanol which is a homogeneous mixture having azeotropic boiling range of 25-180.7°C, a composition comprising 2% of A and 98% of B manifests 1.2Torr of vapor pressure at 25°C, a composition comprising 15% of A and 85% of B manifests 1000Torr at 180.7°C, a composition comprising 56-64% of A and (C) 36-44% of 1-(2-methoxy-1-methylethoxy)-2-propanol which is a homogeneous mixture having azeotropic boiling range of 0-190.4°C, a composition comprising 56% of A and 44% of C manifests 0.09Torr of vapor pressure at 0°C, a composition comprising 60% of A and 40% of C manifests 1000Torr of vapor pressure at 190.4°C.
