To provide a new composition having azeotropic properties or nearly azeotropic properties (azeotrope-like) that can be used as a detergent to be suitably used to remove grease and machining oil used in machining and rust prevention of metallic parts, and to remove flux in manufacturing a semiconductor and further as a foaming agent, a working medium, a dispersant, an electrical insulation agent and the like, the new composition being free of a risk of damaging the ozone layer and based on hydrofluoro ether not containing chlorine.

The azeotrope-like composition includes 80-99.5 wt.% of 1, 1, 2, 2-tetrafluoroethyl-2, 2, 2-trifluoroethyl ether and 20-0.5 wt.% of 2, 2, 3, 3, 3-pentafluoropropanol.
