Abstract:

To provide a substitute for chlorofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons, giving minimum influence on the global environment and having high performance.

The azeotropic or quasi-azeotropic composition is composed of 1-methoxy-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane (HFE-254pc) and methanol. Particularly, the azeotropic composition is composed of 1-methoxy-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane (84.4 mol%) and methanol (15.6 mol%) as azeotropic compounds.
