Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a novel compound expressed by a specific formula and useful as a binder and plasticizer for propellant, gunpowder, etc. CONSTITUTION:The compound of formula I [A is 2-4C oxyalkylene; M is 1-6C OH-containing compound residue; a, b and c are average added molar numbers and a is 0-10, b is 1-30, c is 0.5-10 and a+b+c is <=50; m is 1-6]. The compound can be produced by reacting a hydroxyhalogenated polyether with sodium azide in the presence of an organic solvent.
