Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject novel compound as a herbicide.
CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I [R1 is halogen, (halogen-substituted) alkyl, alkoxy, etc.; R2, R3 are H, alkyl; R4 is alkyl; X1, X2 are O, S; Y1, Y2 are methyl, methoxy; Z is =CH-, N). For example, 2-bromo-6-[(4,6- dimethoxypyridin-2-yl)oxy]benzaldehyde ethylene acetal. The compound of formula I is produced by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of formula III [Q is halogen, alkylsulfonyl, (substituted)benzenesulfonyl].
