Abstract:
To provide a new azo compound and its tautomer each with high light fastness.
The new azo compound and its tautomer represented by formula(1) are provided, being good in hue and high in light fastness. In formula(1), R1, R2, R5, R7 and R8 are each H, an alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylsulfonyl, arylsulfonyl, alkylthio, arylthio, cyano, acyl, carbamoyl, amino, nitro or halogen atom; R3, R4, R6 and R9 are each H, an alkyl or aryl; wherein R1 and R2, R2 and R3, R3 and R4, R6 and R7, R7 and R8, R8 and R9 may be bound to each other to form cyclic structures, respectively; and A- is a counteranion.
