Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azo compound having excellent solubility in an oil-soluble solvent and an aqueous medium; an oily or aqueous dye composition of the same; and an inkjet ink using the composition.SOLUTION: Provided is a chromium or cobalt metal complex of an azo compound obtained by reacting a compound, which is obtained by condensing a compound represented by the following formula (4) with a corresponding chromium compound or a cobalt compound, with a compound having a tetra(C1-4 alkyl)ammonium ion.
