Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azo compound with excellent solubility and an oily or aqueous dye composition including the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an azo compound having an alkylammonium ion having 1 to 4 carbon atoms for a counter ion, where two molecules of an azo compound represented by the following formula (4) prepared by a coupling reaction between a diazotization product of 2-aminobenzoic acid compound such as anthranilic acid and 3-carboxyethyl-1-phenyl pyrazolone derivative coordinate to one chromium atom or cobalt atom. (4), where R, Rand Rrepresent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or the like.
