Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce a polypeptide having human BCDF activity from a procaryote such as bacterial cell of Escherichia coli having a DNA encoding human BCDF and to produce a useful polypeptide.

CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide which is a purified polypeptide having human B cell differentiating factor (hereinafter abbreviated as BCDF), no natural signal peptide at its N end and no saccharide chain, contains AlaPro as an N end amino acid and Met as a C end amino acid and is produced from cells of procaryote.
