Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To classify unshaped matter with high accuracy by analyzing the power spectrum pattern of a Fraunhofer diffraction image and taking in the color of the unshaped matter as a discrimination auxiliary parameter to analyze the same.
SOLUTION: A sample 1 is mixed with a dyeing soln. 3 to be sent to a flop cell 7 through a sample soln. syringe 6. A sheath liquid 4 is preliminarily pressurized to be sent to a waste soln. chamber 8 through the cell 7. The light of a light source 9 is condensed to the sample in the sheath flow flowing through the cell 7 to irradiate the same and the particle image of the sample is taken through lenses 10b, 10c and the sample is detected as objective matter from dyed color data. The laser beam emitted from a liquid crystal display device 22 is formed into a Fraunhofer diffraction image 25 through an optical Fourier transform lens 23 and a power spectrum pattern is detected. The color data of unshaped matter is detected and the power spectrum pattern by the Fraunhofer diffraction image in a discrimination judge means 27 is analyzed to be used as a discrimination auxiliary parameter.
