PURPOSE: To provide the baby bed easily taking an object in and out the housing space without being disturbed by the opened door by opening the door of the lower fence without being disturbed by an object near the horizontal fence without deteriorating the rigidity.

CONSTITUTION: A horizontal fence 8 of a baby bed 1 is constructed by an upper fence 18 and a lower fence 19. The lower fence 19 consists of an upper crosspiece 20 and lower crosspiece 21 whose both ends are fixed by a screw 36 to a prop 11 and a foot frame 6 and vertical prop 22 and vertical crosspieces 23...23 between the crosspieces 20 and 21. A door 9 which opens and closes an opening 24 of the lower fence 19 consists of an upper horizontal member 32, vertical member 34 penetrated to the hole of the lower crosspiece 30 of the upper fence 18 and the upper crosspiece 20 of the lower fence 19 slidably and slides vertically up and down. Thus, the upper fence 18 and the lower fence 19 are arranged on the same surface.
