PURPOSE: To provide a baby chair free to fold which enables the building thereof as front carrier for a bicycle or a safety chain.

CONSTITUTION: In a front carrier for a bicycle, a slide band 10 is formed curved with the inversion of the other end of a circular arc catch 9 free to turn on a shaft 7 at the front position of a seat base 3 and an engaging/disengaging rod 12 is arranged protruding sideways at the tip of a fixed plate 11 to be bent backward slightly below the seat base 3. The catch 9 is always engaged with the engaging/disengaging rod 12 by a dead load to disable the folding of the seat base 3. Then, to mount a rear leg, a quarter disc 17 is fastened on the outside of the rear end of the left seat base 3 and a rear leg 21 is mounted on a shaft 19 free to turn outside the disc in which a hole 19 is made to match the stopper 18 in the development of the rear leg and a hole 20 to match it in the folding thereof at a front upper part thereof and a lock hole is drilled below the shaft. A lock pin 28 is inserted loosely into the lock hole and a lever 27 is screwed down on the rear leg being pressurized with a spring to pressurize the lock pin 28 constantly.
