PURPOSE: To eliminate the necessity of the provision of embossing adapted for inserting a finger when a back door is opened, to the rear part of a vehicle body.

CONSTITUTION: Cam levers 20 which are vertically turnable in an upright direction and a falling direction, are provided on opposite side parts of a back door 4. The cam levers 20 has a length so that a gap is defined between the rear end of the back door 4 and the vehicle body 10 and adapted to be inserted thereinto with a finger at an obliquely upright rotational position. A stopper pine 28 is planted on a base 17, which abuts against to a protrusion 27 formed on the other end of the cam lever 20 so as to inhibit the rotation of the cam lever 20 in the upright direction S. The other end part of the cam lever 20 is journalled at its front end with a rod 16 for a gas stay 14 by means of a pin 29, thereby it is possible to energize the cam lever 20 to rotate in the upright direction S.
