Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back filling device capable of dispensing with varying of the length of a fastener avoiding the problem of contact between the upper end of the wedge member and an earth-retaining wall by binging the vertical plane of a wedge member into direct contact with a waler.
SOLUTION: The back filling device for retaining earth includes the wedge member and a receiving member, with the wedge member inserted into a space portion that forms between the earth-retaining wall and the waler when the earth-retaining wall is supported by the waler. The upper section of the wedge member can be bent by a predetermined angle in the direction of the waler, so that even if the wedge member abuts on the earth-retaining wall, the wedge member can be inserted into the space portion.
