PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the volume of a liquid crystal display device by constituting the liquid crystal display device having ≥2 liquid crystal display panels in a single back light module.
SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a light source 12, a light guide 10 made incident with the rays emitted from the light source, and optical films 20 and 30 for uniformly distributing the rays reflected within the light guide and projected outside. The optical films 20 and 30 are pasted to both opposite surfaces of the light guide and the liquid crystal display panels 40 and 50 are pasted to the other sides of the respective optical films. The optical films are formed by laminating first diffusing films 21 and 31, first light increasing films 22 and 32, second light increasing films 23 and 33, and second diffusing films 24 and 34. The light source 12 is disposed at one end of the light guide 10 and makes the rays incident on the light guide by a light edge system.
