Abstract:
To provide a back pad material for a wheelchair, the material which can stably support the back of a seated user through a simple structure, while preventing the thickness of the back pad part of a wheelchair from increasing and which is also provided with excellent durability.SOLUTION: A back pad material 1 for a wheelchair is installed, through an installation member 6 made of a belt material for example, on a backrest part of a conventionally known folding wheelchair or the like. The back pad material 1 for a wheelchair includes: a cushioning material 2 made of a soft material; a shape retention plate 3 which is arranged on the back side of the cushioning material 2 as a reinforcement; and a covering material 5 composed of a bag-like body, etc., which covers the outer periphery of the back pad material body 4 made of a laminate with the cushioning material 2 and the shape retention plate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
