PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for diagnosis of abnormality by inferring the factors of the abnormality based on the input abnormal symptoms and the results of a relevant abnormal symptom selection means.
CONSTITUTION: When an abnormal symptom input means inputs the abnormal symptoms emerging presently at an abnormality diagnostic subject device, a relevant abnormal symptom output means outputs the abnormal symptoms related to the relevant input abnormal symptoms prior to the inference. An operator selects the corresponding one out of those output related abnormal symptoms and can input the information on the relevant abnormal symptoms. Hereafter the inference is started. Thus the factors of the input abnormal symptoms are inferred based on the information on both the input abnormal symptoms and the relevant abnormal symptoms, i.e., the results of a relevant abnormal symptom selection means. Thus it is possible to shorten the overall time required for diagnosis of abnormality.
