Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the slip of a frictional element in engine brake application and prevent the fastening shock by controlling the back-up pressure according to the automatic speed change range gear position immediately before the selection from the automatic speed change range to the manual range. CONSTITUTION:A back-up pressure controller 200 is equipped with a throttle opening-degree detecting means 201, car-speed detecting means 202, range- position detecting means 203, coasting state detecting means 204 and a gear position detecting means 205 in the D-range immediately before the selection of I or II range. Each detection signal of these detecting means 201-205 is input into a microcomputer 206. Therefore, when the operation state in engine brake application is detected by the gear position detecting means 205, the back-up pressure corresponding to the operation state is supplied into an overrun clutch (frictional element) through the back-up pressure control means.
