Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a backflow prevention device for an injection molding machine without generating the wedging operation on a backflow prevention ring.
CONSTITUTION: In a screw of an in-line screw type injection molding machine, which is of a structure of preventing the backflow of a resin material to a screw section at the time of injection and dwelling process as a result of bringing a backflow prevention ring 15 set on the end of a screw 2 into contact with a seat link 10, the angle θ formed by a contact face formed by bringing a seat 16 of the backflow prevention ring 15 into contact with a seat face 11 of the seat link 10 and an axial center 20 of the screw 2 is set in the range of 90°-ρ≤θ<90°. ρ is the friction angle to the friction coefficient of the contact section where the backflow prevention ring is brought into contact with the seat link.
