A backhoe has an earth dropping checking means E for controlling speed reduction (or stopping) of a raking-in movement of an arm 5 and a returning lateral movement of a second boom part 4b preferentially performed to this so as to check/prevent a bucket movement to the operation part side from the front checking surface A1 when a bucket 6 reaches the front checking surface A1 in a state of simultaneously issuing a raising command of a boom 4, a raking-in command of the arm 5 and a returning lateral movement command of the second boom part 4b existing in an operation part side offset position. Then, the earth dropping checking means E is actuated when the bucket 6 is not less than a height Hs of an almost eye line of an operator.
