Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a backlash error by reducing the backlash error showing the increasing characteristic down to a fixed level or lower regardless of a relative feeding speed and according to the backlash information.
SOLUTION: When the increase/decrease direction of a position command signal is inverted, a motor inversion detection part 8 outputs a step signal of positive or negative value '1'. A backlash gain correction part 9 multiplies the step signal by the coordinate conversion value of the largest backlash error value that is previously measured. A time dependent filter 10 reduces the value of the corrected step signal at a level rate that is accordant with the time elapsed after the increas/decrease direction of the position command signal is inverted and outputs the reduced step signal as a position correction signal (backlash information). A backlash adder 11 adds the position correction signal to the position command signal and outputs a correction position command signal. Thus, the backlash error increasing at a fixed rate can be reduced down to a fixed level or lower regardless of a relative feeding speed and according to the backlash information.
