A backpack type bag with self-balancing dynamo-electric device includes wheels 50 with motors 51. Foot plates 40 are provided on the upper parts of the motors 51. Support rods 20 are fixed to the foot plates 40. However, on the sides of the support rods 20, a housing 30 with a battery accommodated therein and a controller 31 attached thereto is provided. A grip portion 21 is attached to the upper parts of the support rods 20 so as to be pulled into the support rods 20. A bag 10 enclosing the housing 30 is provided on the support rods 20. Thus, a user can put articles in the bag 10 and walk with the bag on his or her back. Alternatively, a user can place the bag 10 on the ground and run by riding on the foot plates 40.
