Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knapsack type work machine, in which a wide gap is formed between a knapsack band and a back member by a simple constitution while making an elastic member unnecessary.SOLUTION: A knapsack type work machine comprises: a knapsack part 1 to be borne by an operator; a back rest member 2 having a cushioning property mounted on the knapsack part 1 and interposed between the knapsack part 1 and the back of an operator; and a pair of transverse band parts 3 and 3. The band parts 3 include: a pad portion 10 containing a band-shaped cushion member; an upper band part 12 extending from the upper portion of the pad portion 10; and a lower band part 14 extending from the lower portion of the pad portion end portion on the pad portion 10 and connected at its end portion to the lower portion of the knapsack part 1. The back rest member 2 is formed with a slit 20 recessed to the side of the knapsack part 1 and capable of fitting the lower end portion 21 of the pad portion 10. The lower end part 21 of the pad 10 is inserted into the slit 20 so that the pad portion 10 is curved not to depend downward but outward thereby to form a wide gap S between the pad portion 10 and the back rest member 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
