Abstract:
To provide a backrest device of a chair, which has a back frame composed of frame-shaped members covered with a back sheet body, is capable of reducing the cost of manufacture by simplifying the structure of the back sheet body, and facilitating the work of attaching the back sheet body.
The back sheet body 12 is formed as a bag whose lower part is open. The back frame 10 is covered with the back sheet body 12 from above, leaving the lower part, and the lower end edge 12b of the back sheet body 12 is held by a holding member 34. The holding member 34 is fitted to and held at a fitting part 31 which is provided at the lower part of the back frame 10 to open upward.
