Abstract:
To provide a backrest of a chair with a seat for supporting a user's body at an ergonomically preferable position, allowing the user to do various work.
The backrest of the chair comprises a frame and a film attached to the frame with a first body contact surface and a second surface on the opposite side. The film is made of a textile consisting of strands of elastomer monofilaments and monofilament yarn. The backrest is attached to the frame and has a back support member with a support surface. At least part of the support surface makes contact with the second surface of the film. At least part of the back support member can be seen through the film from the first body contact surface.
