Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain Staphylococcus hominis (FERM P-15867) capable of decomposing polylactate resin without exhausting gases in contrast to the incineration treatment, saving the time compared with land disposal and having extremely high value from the viewpoint of waste processing. SOLUTION: Staphylococcus hominis (FERM P-15867) or Staphylococcus epidermidis (FERM P-15868) capable of decomposing a polylactate resin is separated from the soil collected in the Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.
