Abstract:
To provide a baffle member and a degassing device using the same, hardly broken, improving degassing performance.
In this degassing device 1, a baffle member 2 is disposed in a degassing chamber 1a in which molten metal is stored, the molten metal is rotated and stirred by a stirring blade 3 to perform degassing treatment, a baffle member 2 composed of a cylindrical member having an opening section 21 on its circumferential face is disposed so that the opening section 21 is positioned on a bath level of the molten metal, and the flow of molten metal is received by a bulging face 22 at a side opposite to the opening section 21.
