Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag-breaking device capable of safely and efficiently breaking a large sandbag in large quantities.SOLUTION: A bag-breaking device 1 is provided for breaking a large sandbag 10 stored with a storage object, and includes: a cylindrical casing 2 in which a feed port 21 and a discharge port 22 are formed in an upper portion and in a lower portion respectively; a rotary cutter 3a and a rotary cutter 3b which are arranged inside the casing 2 in such a manner that outer peripheral surfaces are opposed to each other at an interval and which are rotationally driven respectively at different rotational speeds in a direction in which the opposed peripheral surfaces are moved to the downstream side toward the discharge port 22; and a plurality of projection parts 30 which are provided in a protruding condition in an outer peripheral surface of a rotary drum 29. In the projection parts 30, there are formed a tip part (a blade edge 33d) biting in the large sandbag 10 and an action surface (an abutting surface 33e) for making force act in tearing-off direction on the large sandbag 10.
