To break a garbage bag, and surely and easily discharge garbage by providing a conveyor to carry garbage bags, a clamp to fix the garbage bag, a holding apparatus to hold the garbage bag by depressing it, a cutter part to cut the bottom surface of the garbage bag, and a discharging part which makes garbage drop downward.

When a garbage bag is thrown onto a receiving plate 7b, a working plate 3a1 is advanced by a cylinder 3a. At the same time, a holding apparatus 4 is moved on the top of a charging hole 3b1, and the garbage bag A1 is depressed by an air cylinder 4e. Then, by a state wherein the garbage bag A1 is drawn by operating a vacuum pipe 4d, a circular blade 5f is rotated by a geared motor 5c, and the circular blade 5f is traversed to the right by a moving motor 5a, and by doing so, the bottom surface of the garbage bag is cut. Then, after the bottom surface of the garbage bag is cut into a cross shape, the garbage bag is lifted to discharge garbage, and the garbage is dropped on a conveyor 10, and in the meantime, the broken garbage bag A2 is picked up and recovered into a box 11.
