PURPOSE: To provide a light weight bag which is excellent in strength, anticreep property, weather-proof property, antiwear property and incision resisting property and holds proper resilience.

CONSTITUTION: A bag is made of a material for knitting consisting of molecular orientation moldings of super-high molecular weight ethylene polymer having at least 5dl/g of intrinsic viscosity [η]. Thus, the bag, though it is light, excellent in an incision resisting property and capable of holding proper resilience is provided by the use of the specified knitting. Since the bag is remarkably excellent in the incision resisting property, it is extremely difficult to cut out by a cutter so that a robbery of contents is effectively prevented.
