To provide a bag removing apparatus capable of taking out contents by automatically removing a bag without damaging the contents of the bag, such as a mushroom bed.

The empty space of the bag 16 is fixed by chucks 24A and 24B and a cut is made in it with an opening cutter 42 provided at a frame 32. The chucks 24A and 24B are opened to the left and right, and also a mushroom bed 14 in the bag is pushed out by a pusher 22 so as to be passed through a frame 32. Consequently, the sides of the bag 16 are torn to the left and right by cutters 38 and 44, and the mushroom bed 14A is pushed out from the bag. Thus, the bag 16 can be automatically peeled off.
