PURPOSE: To obtain a hair deforming agent composition, capable of correcting vicious hair without damaging the hair and excellent in resistance to high humidities and persistence of correcting effects on the vicious hair by including a specific organic acid and a specified sulfonic acid and further blending an organic solvent therewith.
CONSTITUTION: This hair deforming agent composition contains (A) an organic acid of formula I, II (R1 to R3 are each a 4-10C straight- -chain or branched chain alkyl or an aryl; R4 is H, carboxyl, etc.; R5 and R6 are each H, a 1-6C straight-chain or branched chain alkyl, etc.), etc., (e.g. caproic acid) or its salt, (B) a sulfonic acid of formula III, IV (R30 to R32 are each a 1-10C straight-chain or branched chain alkyl or an aryl; R33 to R37 are each H, SO3H, etc.), etc., (e.g. 1-pentanesulfonic acid) or its salt and (C) an organic solvent (e.g. ethanol) and is capable of assuming the acidity (preferably pH 2.5-6). Furthermore, the ingredients (A) and (B) are preferably blended so as to provide (10:1) to (1:10) weight ratio of the ingredients (A):(B). The amount of the blended ingredient (C) is preferably 20-30wt.%.
