PURPOSE: To provide a baggage cart capable of moving up and down the stairs smoothly without impact only by inclining the cart while being kept in the walking attitude.

CONSTITUTION: Lateral support frames 10, 11 are projected backward from a left and a right main handle arms 2, 3 at the rear part of a load receiving frame 4. Oblique support frames 14, 15 are rotatably connected to the rear ends of the lateral support frames 10, 11, and the lower ends of the oblique support frames 14, 15 are extended toward an axle 7 and rotatably connected to a fixed member on the load receiving frame 4 side so as to make the lateral support frames 10, 11 and the oblique support frames 14, 15 rotatable between two positions, that is, between a position close to the main handle arms 2, 3 and a position projected backward. The oblique support frames 14, 15 can be thereby slide along the ridge parts of steps so as to enable a cart to move up and down the stairs.
