Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baggage rack device for a rolling stock, having the short vertical dimension and the good appearance, and to be easily attached.
SOLUTION: A tapered groove 18 is formed on an outer structural body 14 so as to be opened to a passenger room side, and it has the tapered section in which the thickness is gradually decreased toward the innermost part. A baggage rack 22 is provided with a hollow tapered sectional part 26 having the same sectional form as the tapered groove 18, the hollow tapered sectional part 26 is inserted into the tapered groove 18, pressed to the innermost part of the tapered groove 18 by a lock bolt 32, fastened, and fixed.
